2012 The sophomore point guard is expected to take up the scoring load for the Warriors following the departure of key veteran players. The one-time Letran high school stalwart already showed his scoring potential by averaging 14.6 points during the pre-season, a marked improvement from his 5.2-point per game average as a rookie last year.
In 2013 Roi Sumang nearly made it to the Mythical Five last season when he averaged 18.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 1.4 steals. He won the Most Valuable Player title in the Premier Cup preseason tournament after leading the Red Warriors to the title.
